Old Hamlet readymade spice mix for making Spiced Hot Apple Juice or Hot Cider Drinks, a winter classic. Old Hamlet hand mixes its tried-and-tested Mulled Cider spice mix and portions these into cute muslin pouches, just enough to flavour a bottle of your favourite cider or apple juice. Old Hamlet's Spiced Cider spices have been blended and packed in the UK since the 1970s. 4 pouches are packed into cube-shaped cartons. A great party gift or seasonal gift for everyone whether for Christmas or Thanksgiving, for cider or apple juice. Directions: Pour one 1 litre bottle of cider into a saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 Spiced Cider spice bundle. Heat gently, stirring occasionally. When nearly boiling, remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Reheat. Do not let boil, but serve hot. For special occasions, add some slices of apple or lemon.
