This product doesn't lather as much as conventional shampoo due to the lack of SLS, if you want to experience more of a lather, apply more water rather than more shampoo. Rinse and repeat. As a Body/Hand/Face wash - Pump some product into your hands and rub gently into your body/hand/face as needed and then rinse.
