Keep the fluid in the mouth for 1 minute before swallowing for optimum absorption through the mucous membrane.

Initial Intake: 30 ml per day.

After 1-2 months: Continue at 10-20 ml per day.

Children:

• Up to 2 years: 1 teaspoon / 5 ml per day.
• 2-6 years: 1 tablespoon / 10 ml per day.
• 6-12 years: 2 tablespoons / 20 ml per day.

It is recommended to take nano iron away from meals on an empty stomach. For greater context, iron that you get from food and supplements can easily bind to substances in coffee, tea (black, green, rooibos), grains and dairy products (tannic acid, phytic acid and calcium).

Nano iron is readily absorbed in the mucous membrane of the mouth, if taken away from food, which greatly reduces the chance of binding with other nutrients.

Ideally take it on an empty stomach and hold in your mouth for a minute or so before swallowing. Then wait 20 mins or so before eating.
