Taka TurmericOrg Turmeric & Black Pepper

Taka Turmeric Organic Turmeric is made from a single organic herb, whole root turmeric grown in Karnataka in southern India, activated by organic black pepper extract. Each capsule provides 500mg of turmeric root powder, ground from the whole dried rhizome rather than concentrated into an extract, so it keeps the naturally occurring curcuminoids (3 - 5%) along with the aromatic oils that come with them. Black pepper extract is in there because it helps the body absorb the curcuminoids in turmeric, a pairing used in Indian cooking for centuries and one that modern science has since gone on to explain. We buy from the same Karnataka growers we have worked with from the very beginning, and every batch is tested for heavy metals before it is encapsulated. The capsule shell is plant based, so the whole thing is suitable for vegans. 100% Organic Ingredients: Turmeric Root Powder (Curcuma longa), Black Pepper Extract (Piper nigrum), Vegetable Capsule Shell. Certified organic by the Soil Association and suitable for vegans - Every batch tested for heavy metals - Free from fillers, binders and flowing agents - 60 vegan capsules. Taka Turmeric - Since 2015
