The drying process for our dried fruit figs begins on the tree and then continues on plastic sheets under sunlight. Figs are sieved and selected under UV lights to remove fruits contaminated by aflatoxin, then washed with salty water, passed through an X-ray scanner, and handpicked on belt steps to remove any foreign material and defects like moldy, spoiled, or damaged figs. Selected figs are passed through hot water inside a boiler to make them soft and juicy, then weighed and packed automatically and passed through a metal detector. After that, packages are pasteurized and put into carton boxes. Naturally gluten-free, with no sugar added, and a source of fiber.
