Cod liver oil may reduce inflammation in joints and therefore could offer pain relief, particularly with stiffness in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Circulation
Studies show that the omega-3 fatty acids contained in cod liver oil may be helpful to reduce blood clots and the risk of coronary heart disease.
Skin and Eye Health
Cod liver oil contains vitamin A, which may benefit various skin disorders such as acne and psoriasis. Vitamin A is used in the rods and cones to support the eye's retina, which is responsible for our night and daytime vision. Taking cod liver oil may help poor vision.

Not to be taken in pregnancy.
