Cordyceps militaris creates fruiting bodies when it grows on a solid substrate. The fruiting bodies extract is richer in active ingredients, and has higher content of beta-D-glucans, compared to those extracted from mycelium. The extract is standardised to an impressive 50% polysaccharides content and contains a significant amount of triterpenes, sterols and polyphenols.
