Hold the reagent portion of the test strip in urine stream for 1-2 seconds OR Immerse test strip in a sample of fresh urine for approximately 1-2 seconds.

Gently wipe the test strip with a paper towel (or other clean absorbent material) to remove excess urine OR wipe the excess urine off the test strip using the rim of a specimen container.

For the most accurate reading, wait approximately 40 seconds and compare your results with the color chart on the bottle. Results read two (2) minutes or more aer the test strip has come into contact with urine may not be accurate.
