Our hand-harvested Irish Moss (or Sea Moss and Carrageen) is primarily used as a vegan alternative to gelatin, a thickener for soups, stews and sauces and to make tea with to act as a cough medicine.
It can also be applied on the skin to soothe burns, moisturise and it is known to prevent acne and eczema. Air dried and bleached, there is no flavour to it, and a mildly sweet smell
