UltraClear Sustain‚Ñ¢ is a powdered mix, specifically formulated to provide targeted nutrition for powerful gastrointestinal support, particularly for the gastrointestinal (GI) mucosa. Each serving provides over 14 grams of low-allergy rice protein, medium chain triglycerides, and individual amino acids such as glutamine. This unique formula contains a full range of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B2, B3 and biotin, all of which support the health of mucous membranes such as the lining of the digestive tract. UltraClear Sustain also contains fibre in the form of inulin.
The protein component of UltraClear Sustain is specially processed high amylose rice flour, enriched with essential amino acids to increase its biological value, and the source of fats are readily absorbed and metabolised medium-chain triglycerides.
As well as providing a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals, UltraClear Sustain is fortified with glutamine, NAC and glutathione. L-Glutamine is the most abundant naturally occurring non-essential amino acid in the body, and it may be made from another amino acid, glutamic acid. Though it can be made in the body, different areas of the body have different requirements for l-glutamine, and the biggest users are the rapidly growing and dividing cells of the intestinal lining.
Inulin is naturally sourced from chicory and is rich in soluble fibre. Inulin is not digested when consumed, instead, it passes straight through the digestive tract to the bowel. Here, it helps to stimulate the growth of live bacteria, who consume it as a food source. In this way, it may contribute towards normal bowel function and may promote digestive wellbeing.
