Adreset is a herbal blend designed to support energy and vitality. It provides potent standardised extracts of the ‘adaptogenic’ herbs ginseng, rhodiola and cordyceps.

Adaptogenic herbs may help a person “adapt” to their environment and help to normalise and regulate the body’s functioning.

Adreset provides Asian Ginseng Root (Panax Ginseng), standardised to 16mg ginsenosides, the active compounds in ginseng. Adreset also delivers a standardised extract of cordyceps mycelium, and rhodiola root extract standardised to 3% rosavins (1.5mg) and to 1% (0.5mg) salidroisde.

Asian or Korean ginseng root (Panax Ginseng) has a very extensive history of use throughout Asia and is thought to promote alertness and vitality, and counteract fatigue. It may also support cognitive function and the normal functioning of the immune system.

Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is another powerful and fast-acting adaptogenic herb that has been used traditionally for centuries. Based on traditional use, it is thought to contribute to normal blood circulation which in turn is associated with cognitive performance and reactivity. Rhodiola may also support the nervous system.

Adreset also contains cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis), standardised to the active compound cordycepic acid. Cordyceps has a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and has often been compared to the ginsengs.

Why are standardised extracts important? – Standardised extracts are a guarantee that the potency and amount of active compounds are the same as those advertised on the label. This is particularly important when choosing a botanical supplement.
